Why do I feel like running around here screaming "EXTENDED"??? (Think "Fun With Dick and Jane", when Dick found out he was getting indicted...YEAH...just like that...) It's not like I didn't see it coming...as many times as we deviated from our regular schedule this deployment, this is like the barbed-wire-and-razorblade icing on the rusty-nails-and-shrapnel cake. I have things to do back in Virginia...especially with my separation date being almost a year from now.

Let's see...what's new with me that would be of any use to anyone??? Well, I'm currently sick...sicker than I've been in about a year now. No temperature, thank God...but this cough has a death rattle to it...although I can barely hear it, since I'm now deaf in my right ear, save for anything internal (my heartbeat's been driving me INSANE). We are currently in an undisclosable location, hunting this millenium's Jack Sparrows of the world. It kinda sucks, though...we're out here, but we keep missing action by mere HOURS. If we don't catch even ONE of these assholes before we leave, this will be a HUGE waste of everyone's time and tax money.

I'd upload some pictures from this deployment (got some really good ones this time around), but I'm not allowed to transfer them here while I'm out at sea...and with us not knowing when we'll pull in again, it may be a LONG time before I can do so.
